Traditional clothes for women in Dani Tribe are Yokal and Sali. Both of the traditional clothes have the distinctiveness and uniqueness to each of the women who used it. The shape itself is a round circle that wrapped on the wait to cover the hips.

Find the image of dried leave that have the similar interpretation from Yokal, in term of the texture and shape. Collaging the visual help to  achieve various silhouette to experiment on.

A Fitting body dress as base layer to drape the pleats on .

With a massive of muslin, pleating was  done in uneven direction to get the  curving  movement on the drape..

Details on right and left chest part of the dress. Adjustment and marking is necessary to match the dress fitting.
